As of last week Congress has passed a law extending the state waters of Alabama from 3 to 9 miles. This law only addresses reef fish such as RED SNAPPER, LANE SNAPPER, TRIGGER FISH, BEELINER SNAPPER AND GREATER AMBERJACK. This was a long, hard fought battle, but the outcome was well worth it.
